Good Product. Still have to wait for few months to find out the real performance of the product.
T-Mobile HTC HERA160 Battery arrived in good condition and was as expected, an exact replacement for the previous battery.
The NEW OEM service rep. Given all that, I'd recommend against these batteries, which likely are the same ones which have an overheating problem.
I would still recommend that potential buyers research beforehand. Don't take the risk to save a few dollars.EDIT 1/26/2010: Circumstances may or may not have changed since my original review.
There's a reason for the throwaway price, and the fact that the seller knows nothing about their own product says a lot. These might be different batteries.
I called NEW OEM, the seller of this battery, which is apparently made by Dynapack, and asked if these were the same batteries which were recalled by T-Mobile via a little-known battery exchange program. said he didn't know.
At that time, the listed batteries were selling for $1.99/ea.
BAD. So out of fear that the battery could burst from over heating this why T-mobile is replacing the battery DO NOT BUY THIS BATTERY BAD. Unless of course you want to fry your phone. This is the battery that comes with the T-mobile Wing phone when you buy it new. T-mobile has been replacing them free of charge to T-mobile customers who bought the phone through them because the battery over heats which is a big bad thing when it comes to batteries. BAD.
